The Groundwater and Watershed Health Education Specialist will: work with landowners, land management agencies, resource agencies, and county government to build capacity to successfully plan and implement groundwater and watershed health activities based on current science-based knowledge. Identify common obstacles to implementation and co-create solutions with partners. Build coordination and collaboration for multiple landowner projects affecting watershed health. Support development of groundwater and watershed planning documents using the best available science.
This position is a contract appointment that is 50% variable and ends two years from date of hire with the possibility of extension if funding permits.
Pay Scale: $47,500.00/year to $63,900.00/year
